COLOR-SKOPAR 21mm F4 P
Utilizing the fact that the rangefinder system doesn’t have to accommodate a mirror, this lens features a symmetrical optical design consisting of 8 elements in 6 groups. Image quality is prioritized with this high-performance super wide-angle lens. The lens features extremely low distortion and it maintains its high performance from its minimum image capturing distance through to infinity.
Pursuit of high image quality
The rangefinder system does not require a mirror. Utilizing this advantage, this lens features a symmetrical optical design. Image quality is prioritized with this high-performance super wide-angle lens. The lens features extremely low distortion and it maintains its high performance from its minimum image capturing distance to infinity
Ultra-light weight compact design
Just 25.4mm long and 55mm in diameter. With a filter size of just 39mm. Weighing only 136 grams, the lens is eminently portable.
Image drawing with a focus on bokeh
Due to the spherical optical design, the bokeh both in front and behind the focus point is gentle and smooth. In addition, the lens features a 10-blade aperture diaphragm to ensure that captured images have beautiful bokeh.
Minimum focus distance of 0.5 meters
When attached to a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera using our mount adapter, the lens focuses beyond the minimum rangefinder-coupled focus distance of 0.7m all the way down to 0.5m. You can enjoy the high performance of this lens on various platforms beyond the scope of rangefinder-coupled cameras.
Manual focus for reliable focusing
Employs a very precisely machined and adjusted all metal helicoid unit lubricated with high quality grease to realize smooth focusing operation with just the right amount of torque. This enables very precise focusing.
Focusing tab for ease of operability
The focusing tab is shaped to fit your finger to ensure fast and precise focusing.
Bayonet type VM mount
Uses the VM-mount lens mount compatible with Leica M-mount. Not only can this lens be used on rangefinder-coupled cameras, but design-wise it also balances very nicely when mounted on mirrorless digital cameras with a mount adapter.
Installed with a focus-coupling system
The high-precision rangefinder coupling mechanism enables precise focusing even with the lens’s deep depth of focus.
Imaging circle that covers full frame format
The lens features a generous imaging circle that covers the 35 mm full frame format. Furthermore, its size is extremely compact compared to interchangeable lenses for single-lens reflex cameras.
