NOKTON 75mm F1.5 Aspherical

Very blurred bokeh with great handling

Features

The NOKTON 75mm F1.5 Aspherical RF-mount is a large aperture manual focus medium telephoto lens optimized for full-frame mirror-less camera exclusively for Canon RF mount.
Providing both compactness and high performance despite the large aperture of F1.5.
The aspherical lens provides excellent descriptive performance from the widest aperture setting.

Main Features

Designed exclusively for the Canon RF mount

Optics optimized for the image sensors *1 of mirrorless cameras with the Canon RF-mount are implemented. The lens has a full-frame image circle and can be used with both full-frame and APS-C size mirrorless cameras.

Information communication with the body by electronic contacts

The lens is equipped with electronic contacts and realizes communications between the lens and the body. In addition to Exif information and in-body image stabilization (3-axis) *2, three types of focus support functions (magnification, peaking, and focus guide *3) are all supported.

Manual focus for reliable focus operation

Adopting a full-metal helicoid unit processed and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate torque, focusing with a smooth operation feeling is realized. It enables fine focus adjustment.

Minimum aperture can be set to F32.

With a large-aperture lens with a maximum aperture of F1.5, the minimum aperture can be set as low as F32. At the maximum aperture of F1.5, you can enjoy a large bokeh effect, while at the minimum aperture of F32, you can obtain a deep focus.

12-blade aperture diaphragm for beautiful bokeh

The aperture diaphragm is configured with 12 blades to make the aperture opening as circular as possible. This means the out-of-focus areas of images are drawn naturally and point light sources etc. are drawn as soft round bokeh rather than as polygonal shapes.

Aperture click-stop switching mechanism

The aperture ring has a click-switching mechanism that allows the aperture to be opened and closed steplessly without being affected by the click, for example, when shooting video or adjusting fine focusing depth.

*1 The aperture value display of the Canon EOS R system does not indicate values other than 1/3 step, so the maximum aperture value data in the Exif information other than the lens name is displayed as "F1.6".
*2 Effective only with bodies equipped with in-body image stabilization.
*3 Excluding EOS RP.
